"Ten percent of East Windsor's total acreage has been or is in the process of being approved for grid-scale solar," one official said.
The Idaho National Guard said firefighters contained a two-acre brush fire inside a solar farm Wednesday, preventing any damage to the panels.
"There are ways to do this so everyone has a role," said East Windsor First Selectman Jason Bowsza.
